Meet the Host
Ali Nielson received her Masters in Social Work (MSW) from New York University in 2016 and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in San Antonio, Texas. Ali works both as a mental health therapist and as a social worker for a local medical group, providing support to older adults living with dementia. In her free time, she enjoys playing soccer, spending time outside with her family, and sharing her experiences of being a foster parent.
Ali launched Employed in the spring of 2020 as a forum for sharing her fascination with the many career opportunities that exist in our country. She is excited to join forces with Freedom for Resilient Women to demystify the careers you have heard of and create exposure for the ones you haven’t.
